Rockies waiting for an Opponent for Wold Series
         
Oct. 16, 2007:  Jamey Carroll and the Colorado Rockies are headed to the first World Series appearance in the team's 15 year history.  The team swept the Arizona Diamondbacks in four games to advance.  So far in the playoff's Carroll has seen action in 3 games mostly because of his defensive skills and hasn't recorded a hit, though he only has 1 at bat.  Meanwhile in the AL, Coco Crisp is hoping that he can rally his Red Sox back from a 2-1 Indians series lead.  Winner of this series earns the right to play the Rockies in the World Series.

Oct. 15, 2007:  During his game against the Washington Redskins, Brett Favre threw his 278th INT of his career, breaking a tie between George Blanda and himself.
